This summer I vowed to blog more. Have I? Not really. Between mom and sister visiting, I have been pretty busy. It has been fun to have family here. Okay, here we go with some updates.
Weight Loss
I haven't lost many pounds lately but I am in a size 12 so I am losing inches!! It's been about 20 years since I was this little. Crazy!
Brad is around 120 pounds gone. He is down to a 40x32 pant size!! We bought him some clothes at Old Navy, a place he has never really shopped. I am so proud of him.
Fertility
Today was a bit of a bummer day. I have been taking Letrezole, hoping my eggs would mature and it didn't work. They should have been around 20 mm and they were 12 and 13 mm. I go back in 3 weeks to find out our next step. Thank you for all of the well wishes and prayers.
Summer Fun
We leave on Monday for a two week trip to Florida. The main reason for the trip is for a baby shower but we are really excited to see our family and friends also. We haven't seen them with our new bodies! I'm looking forward to some beach time and seeing many of our nieces and nephews.
I hope you are staying cool in the HOT summer temperatures!

Update
I started the Letrozole this week. I go to the doctor on Friday to see if my eggs have matured. I hope so! *Fingers crossed* If they have, then I get a shot to make me ovulate. I'm sure Brad will have fun with that. :)
My mom is visiting this week and we have had so much fun! I'm so glad her and Sara got to come visit us. We are working on a trip to Florida but can't solidify any details until I go to the doctor on Friday.

A few crafts
The great thing about summer: time for crafting! Below are a few crafts I have made. I will add more as I complete them. Some are a surprise for my friend so I can't post them for a while. :)
I made this birthday card for my friend Michelle. I used the Imagine More Cards cartridge and a flower cuttlebug embossing folder to add some depth.
I decided to scrapbook our weight loss journey. This is the front page to our scrapbook. I finished it for now because we plan on losing more weight. :)

Warning! Picture heavy post!
This week has been a fun start to the summer. My sister came to visit from Florida! It has been great to have Sara here. We took advantage of the extra person and took some pictures.
100 pounds gone forever!!
I guess you could say my 100 pound reward was dying my hair purple. I am in love with it. I wish I could keep it year round.
I love this boy! Together, we have lost over 200 pounds! Unbelievable!
Brad has lost 111 pounds! Go boy!
My sister and I had such a blast. I am so glad we had this time together.
This is how we spent the majority of the week... giggling like we were 12!

Updates! Updates!
So many updates for you... you would think I am working a lot. Nope. I'm enjoying every minute of my summer break. So, in advance I'm going to apologize for the long post.
Weight Loss Update
Baby Update
I went to the RE a few weeks ago and was given a treatment plan. I already wrote about this. :) I got my medicine in the mail this week. Letrozol, HCG (triggers shot) and progesterone. I'm waiting to get the ball rolling. The dr gave me some medicine today to help with that. :) We went to a "class" and Brad learned how to give me the shot. This is so romantic. *rolling my eyes* Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Infertility is harder than I ever imagined. I have good days and bad days. I keep telling myself that it will happen and it will be worth it.
Summer Update
This week is the first week of summer. I am loving every minute of it! My sister is here visiting from Florida. We have done a horrible job of taking pictures. We have done a lot of R&R, mani's and pedi's, craft time, pool time, and a ton of giggling! I feel like I am 12 again with how much I have been giggling. :) Having her here makes me a little home sick. But, I also love my Texas family.
Okay, sorry for the long update. Now that summer is here, I will try to update this regularly. :) I hope you are having a great week!
Weight Loss Update
I hit the century mark. I have lost 100 pounds!!! OMG! I can't believe it! So, for my 100 pound reward, I colored my hair purple! Not all of it. Just a few streaks. I am in love with it. I wish I could leave it year round but I'm not sure how many people would feel about their child's teacher having purple hair.
Brad's weight loss stayed about the same. But, slow and steady wins the race! And a week of losing a little is not gaining.Baby Update

Week 33 Update
32 weeks on Medifast. For those of you that are following along, that is 33 weeks without a candy bar, ice cream, milk, fruit, fast food (aside from Jimmy John's unwich). It's crazy! But we feel better and we definitely look better. I came across a picture on my laptop last week and I didn't even recognize it as myself. Of course, when I try to find it to show you.. I can't! Anyway, here is our 32 week update.
I have lost a total of 97.8 pounds!! I am almost to the 100 mark.
Brad has lost a total of 111 pounds!!

If you are on Medifast and you haven't tried PB2, you are missing out! It is heavenly on top of the cookie or brownie! I feel like I am eating a Reece's PB cup. Don't be put off by the powder form. It is delicious! The "chocolate" one is sweeter and not as thick. I actually like it more.
Happy Memorial Day friends!

Doctor Update
Brad and I went back to the RE on Thursday. We were there for 2.5 hours! That's the downside of having a Dr. that only comes in town once a week. But, the visit was a good visit and we are feeling very positive. He did a soft diagnosis of PCOS a few months ago. I only have 1 out of the 3 symptoms but he is treating me as if I have it. So, I started Metformin this week, an insulin resistor. Then, I am going to take Letrozol to make my eggs mature. They have some growing up to do. ;-) I had to have a base line ultrasound on Thursday to make sure there weren't any cysts. There weren't any cysts! Yay! And, I had "a lot" of follicles. I go back in a few weeks to see if my eggs matured and if so, an injectible will force me to ovulate.
So far... staying on the diet. But, I have to cut down my work outs... a lot! Keep us in your prayers. It would be great for this to work so we can start expanding our family. I am hopeful but also trying to remain realistic.
